2027 Race Car Hire 

Arrive & Drive

For all arrive and drive packages, the car will be delivered to the circuit by us with a basic spares package, additional fuel and tyres, and an on hand mechanic to monitor, maintain and if needed, repair the car throughout the event.

For testing and track days, the no damage grace is in effect and any damage incurred will be a chargeable repair for parts and labour at our standard workshop rates. 

For competitive race arrive and drive hire, we offer a degree of damage grace. As we ourselves are racers and want to see our cars competing, we allow minor damage such as paint scrapes, minor dents and light panel damage. However, heavy damage will still be chargeable regardless of fault. 

In the event of a chargeable repair sustained at a race event, the workshop labour rate will be charged at a fixed and reduced day rate of £220 per day and all panels or replacement parts will be charged at trade cost price.  

For all full season packages, all the prices shown will include all consumables related to the car such as tyres, fluids, brakes and fuel. Individual or single one off event hires will have additional fuel, and in some cases, tyre surcharges.

Tyres

The full season package will include 1 set of tyres with 2 spares - 6 in total. The tyres will be  MSUK list tyres as per regulation and approved for use in both dry and wet conditions. 

The default tyre included in the package will be the Nankang AR1 tyre used for its high performance and longevity. The allocated set will last the duration of the season in usual circumstances. If any additional tyres are required, they will be at additional cost.

Upgrades are available on tyres to Yokohama A052, adding an additional £750 to the overall package cost.

The option to add dedicated wet weather tyres (Uniroyal Rainsport) to the package is available at an additional £550.

Drivers are welcome to purchase their own tyres and we will fit them at no extra charge.

The car, like any race car, will be disassembled after every use for inspection and reassembled prior to its next outing, with any worn or damaged parts replaced. It will have fresh fluids and lubrication oils for every other event. At all events, the car will arrive in sound condition, fully setup and race ready. 

Mechanical Failure

Though every step is taken to ensure the car is as safe and reliable as possible, in motorsport, mechanical failures can happen even at the highest levels. If in the event the car suffers a mechanical issue while in your possession at an event, we will be on hand to attempt to repair the car as soon as possible and get you back out on track. 

In the unlikely event of a terminal failure resulting in little to no running (under 15mins generally), we will carry over your hire fee to an extra/additional event at no charge. Unfortunately, we CANNOT compensate or reimburse trackday costs, race entry fees or travel costs.

Upon agreeing to the terms of our hire, you agree that we take no responsibility for any injuries that may be sustained in the event of an accident on circuit under any circumstance. By agreeing to the terms and conditions, you have also agreed that you have satisfied yourself with the condition of the car and all safety measures put in place. 

INSURANCE

For the first time in 2027, we will be offering in house damage cover, 

All cover packages will need to be added at the point of signing and ARE NOT available to be added on once the season has started. 

1. £500  will buy £1250 of damage 

2. £1000 will buy £2000 of damage

3. £1500 will buy £3000 of damage

4. £2000 will buy £4000 of damage

Damage cover packages are optional, not mandatory.

Damage allowance can be accumulated from separate incidents and will only be deducted from any damage that needs repair. This will not affect the racing minor damage we allow. In the event a repair exceeds your chosen allowance, we will bill all additional costs at the previously stated rate. 

All cover packages will include the 50% cap price offer of the car. This means in the event of a total loss (destroyed beyond economical repair) the maximum price you will pay will be 50% of the cars stated value.

The Car

This season we will be fielding our MK3 VW Scirocco GT DSG race cars.

Based on the PQ35 chassis, our Scirocco race cars are purpose built race cars, built ground up from a bare chassis. 

They conform to all MSUK safety standards including: 

• Full weld in cages 

• MSUK compliant plumbed in fire suppression system

• FIA homologated harness restraints 

• Fixed position race seat

Fitted with the EA113 2.0 engine, they will produce 260bhp with an empty weight of 1150kgs.

They feature:

• DQ250 6 speed DSG paddle shift transmission 

• Fully adjustable suspension 

• Motorsport  specific brake system
